HOW MORTIFRYING!!

Breakdown is a character from the Transformers franchise (c. Hasbro), first released to the public in 1985 after the license to Scramble City, a toy series of combining robots, was given to them by Takara Tomy. His first appearance in any cartoon media was in the episode'The Key to Vector Sigma, Part 1' aired on the 25th of November, 1985 in America, the 2nd of May in 1986 for Japan (yes, despite the fact that the characters were greated and designed in Japan), with unknown air dates for other localizations.

The first line Breakdown ever says is "I'm... I'm Breakdown. I'll obey too." voiced by Jack Angel, who is known for playing the role of Zarkon in the original Voltron series. For english releases, every line Breakdown says after this is said by Alan Oppenheimer, best known for playing Skeletor in He-Man.

My Collection

In the beginning of 2022, after a couple months of being fixated on Breakdown, I caved in under the pressure and bought a figure of him for about $100 at the time. Back then, I only really knew about the Breakdown in Transformers: Prime, so the one I decided on was the Japanese exclusive Arms Micron War Breakdown with Zamu from 2011. For 10+ year old stickers, they stuck pretty well on him and Zamu.

It didn't take long for me to become obsessed with this dude. He is my autistic Special Interest, and at this point it's difficult for me to do anything without relating it to him. Part of why I like coding is because I think he would...

I now own ~17 figures, plus a few homemade figurines made from paper, clay, and perler beads. I also have a mosaic lamp, snowglobe, pencil holder, many keychains, a blanket, stuffed animals, an ita bag backpack, pins and buttons... just to name a few. And of course, I can't forget my Breakdown pajama pants.

I feel like all i'm missing from my collection are bedsheets, dishes, and some t-shirts. Considering a lot of my collection is made out of stuff at home, those'll be kinda hard to do, but thank goodness for etsy and redbubble!!
